A Different Way of Life

We were in the Embarcadero for a baby shower yesterday and, the trip to this very different part of the city, gave us all something to think about. Life is different there and our life in the Presidio feels a world away. Even Rai and Ko, when they weren't jumping off the couches (literally!), noticed the difference. What would things be like if Rai and Ko had been raised in a gleaming glass tower instead of in the forest, by the beach?
