Once is an experience, twice is a tradition. This weekend, we camped out in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, for my birthday, for the second year in a row. This year was an even bigger success than last year. There is now no question left about whether or not the boys are ready for camping. They love it and have been asking when we can go again ever since we got back. As for me, I'm asking the same thing. Every single thing we are wrapped in in the city was left far behind and out of mind when it was just us, our tent, and a campfire under the giant sequoias and stars. I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday. Thank you Ashe, Rai and Ko!
