A Week in Poland: Warmia

On our way back from Gdansk, towards the Lithuanian border, we, inevitably, passed through the lake region once more. This time, we stayed in the beautiful old town of Olsztyn and drove the loop via Dobre Miasto, Lidzbark Warminski, Ketrzyn and Ryn, trying to see a few more of the old, brick fortresses and castles that are scattered throughout this region. Lots of history, village life, and beauty on this, our final day, in Polska and, as we were reminded, we were in Warmia for most of this day, not Mazuria (the locals seem to be very sensitive about this).
