The Coral Coast is the remote and unspoilt coastline that stretches several thousand kilometers north of Perth along Australia's entire western side. In another life, we will journey along this part of the continent. On this trip, however, time limited us to only driving the first 200 kilometers of this coast. But driving at all would require the pick up of what would be our wheels and our bed for the remainder of this trip. Ko and I began the day with a short walk over to the Lucky Rentals office to get our Lucky Roamer camper van. It was a step down from the Apollo we had for our 6 week tour this summer but we were now visiting in a higher season so we had to keep within budget. We would soon learn, however, that this was a bigger step down than we anticipated. On this day, we were headed for the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park!
